Techy Tea Party happens every 2 weeks on Monday 11 – 12.30 at the Greenway Centre in Southmead. We're happy to say we've supported people like John learn how to transfer his sim card to his new phone and transfer across his contacts. We've helped Sam attach a letter to an email and put emails into folders, and Steve upload his bank card onto his phone for easy paying. After a session our participant June described feeling much more confident using her laptop and would no longer avoid the “monster” laptop!
We wouldn’t be able to do this wonderful work without our fabulous volunteers and as the project grows we are on the lookout for more. Potential volunteers will have a basic to good understanding of IT and have the patience to help others. It’s a friendly space, free hot drinks and travel expenses are covered.
