Description

More than a summer, an experience!

Join the British Heart Foundation (BHF) this summer and help us make a real difference by volunteering in one of our shops.

Whether you’re looking to do something meaningful during the school or university holidays, keen to gain experience, or just want to give back to your community, summer volunteering with BHF is a great way to meet new people, try something new, and support lifesaving research — all while having fun in a friendly shop environment.

Whether you can spare a few hours a week or have a few spare days, your time will make a huge difference.

What You Will Be Doing:

•    Serving customers and offering great customer service

•    Helping get donations ready for sale

•    Creating and refreshing shop floor displays

•    Sorting and preparing donated items

•    Keeping the shop welcoming, tidy, and well organised

•    And more — every day is a little different!

Volunteering with British Heart Foundation comes with plenty of benefits too…

•    A 25% discount on donated goods and 10% discount on New Goods in our shops

•    Unlimited, free, and confidential support by Retail Trust

•    Access to training and development

•    Reasonable travel expenses reimbursed

•    Refreshments available

•    Volunteer certificates and references provided

•    Access to discounts with other retailers

•    This is a short term volunteering opportunity, ideal for the school, college, or university holidays.
