Starlight walk is a 5km walk at sunset, where supporters will be walking in memory of their babies. Sands is the leading baby loss charity that supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, to work in partnership with healthcare professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care and promote improvements in practice and fund research to help reduce the number of babies dying.

Your role on the day

  • Support starlight walkers along the 5km route in Ashton Court Estate
  • Shine a light at key points on the route with your torch
  • Be visible and encourage people to follow the correct route
  • Feel free to talk to them and say well done as they pass you
  • Once the back walkers have passed you, you can head back to Arts Mansion
