Southmead Stories of Courage Picnic
Have you or has anyone you know made a courageous journey, had to leave a difficult situation, fled from danger or helped others to do so? We are making a video of residents’ experiences of overcoming any kind of adversity for a Southmead Stories of Courage collection.
This project is in partnership with Bristol Community Festival and Bristol Refugee Festival, and anyone is welcome to contribute. We will be recording stories in whichever way people comfortable with – filming, voice recordings, or readers and translators to record a story for other people. If you would simply like to come along and listen to the stories, then please do join us.
Weather dependent, we will be outside in the lovely Community Garden at Greenway Centre for our picnic, with nibbles and drinks provided. Do feel free to bring anything you would like to share with others.
