About the Role
We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Volunteer to help shine a spotlight on the incredible artwork created by adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. You’ll play a key role in celebrating their talent and helping their voices and creativity reach a wider audience.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating engaging social media posts across platforms
- Taking photos and short videos of artwork and sessions
- Developing artist profiles to showcase individuals and their stories
- Helping share and promote our growing art sessions across the region
What we’re looking for:
- Experience or interest in social media (e.g. Instagram, Facebook)
- Basic photography and/or video skills
- A creative eye and strong storytelling instincts
- A warm, respectful approach to working with diverse communities

Milestones Trust is a health and social care charity supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex behavioural needs. The Trust provides residential, nursing and supported living services to over 500 people living in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
As with all our volunteer roles, a DBS check will be required, and we will request two references. Volunteers will also need to complete our online or in-person training before starting their role. Ongoing support will be available from both the volunteer team and a designated member of staff within the service.
