Job Description
We are looking for people with an ability to promote and reach a crowd. Our shop sells an eclectic range of second hand and vintage clothing, accessories, books, music, film and homewares. We’ve sold anything from egg cups to fine art with everything in between. No prior experience is necessary, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
What you can do at the shop:
We believe in empowering our volunteers so, depending on your interests and what you would like to get out of the role, you can get involved with any of the following:
- Select the best individual items to share from our huge volume of stock.
- Photograph and edit content for sharing.
- Create engaging captions and posts to bring in customers and volunteers.
- Promote what we do and share the benefits of volunteering with Oxfam.
- Engage with the local community and encourage interaction.

What we ask for:
- Enthusiasm for volunteering.

- Minimum commitment of a 4-hour shift per week.
- A commitment to abide by all shop health and safety processes.
What your help will enable us to do:
Take better advantage of our wonderful donations and really make some noise about our shop and its stock. Your help would also give help bring new customers and volunteers to the shop to help us make more money for fighting global poverty!
