We are looking for an organised, computer-literate and friendly person to assist our busy team in the smooth and effective running of our service. Based in our Bristol office, you will be supporting the work of our three charities; Sight Support, Insight Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Sight. Supervised by our Customer Service Representative, this is a varied and flexible role that provides vital assistance in every area of the charities’ activities.
What will you be doing?
You can expect to fulfil some (or all) of the following tasks:
- Inputting data and running off reports from our client database
- Assembling Service User Welcome Packs
- Printing and posting out letters or promotional literature
- Conducting research for various members of the team
- Ensuring resource materials are well stocked and up to date and display equipment is fully charged
- Inputting finance data
- Other ad hoc admin tasks as required
What skills and experience are needed?
- Attention to detail
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A good team player but able to work independently

When will you be needed?
This can be flexible to fit around you within normal office hours - 9.30 to 4.30, Monday to Friday
How often will you be needed?
A minimum contribution of 2 hours per week would be beneficial. We would ask for a minimum time commitment of 3 months from start date.
