About this volunteering opportunity
At Bristol Knowle Sea Cadets, we offer young people fantastic opportunities both on and off the water. Our cadets have a huge amount of fun whilst also gaining qualifications, confidence and resilience, launching them for life today.
None of this would be possible without our fantastic volunteers.
We are looking for volunteers to join our team to help teach our cadets. We offer a varied programme to our Sea Cadets, teaching topics including first aid, navigation, meterology, engineering and water sports such as kayaking, sailing and powerboating to name just a few!
What are we looking for?
We are looking for people who want to give volunteering a try and make a positive difference in their community and to young people. All of our volunteer opportunities are flexible so any amount of time you can give is always appreciated. This could be helping on a regular basis or in a more flexible way based around your other commitments.
We welcome people with existing experience and qualifications however we also provide training to those who are keen to learn and get involved but have now previous experience.
Beneftis to volunteering
There are many benefits to volunteering with Sea Cadets. As well as being incredibly rewarding, we also offer nationally recognised qualifications including water sports, leadership and management, first aid and many more.
