Safe Link provides emotional and practical support to all survivors of rape and sexual assault. If the victim or survivor wishes, we will support them to report the incident and go through the criminal justice system.
Our team of Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs) offer confidential advice, practical and emotional support including a safe place to talk, referrals to specialist counselling, support attending sexual health services and help with medical attention.
If survivors want to report to the police they can give support with making a statement, or report it anonymously on their behalf. The victim or survivor does not have to report to the police to access the service and the abuse could have happened recently or in the past.
