We are always looking for new coaches to join our team. Currently we need to recruit coaches for our younger age groups and also for our womens teams. As a coach for the club you will have access to free training via England Rugby and Bristol Bears as well as a level 3 first aid training qualification. There is also the opportunity to gain a free fitness coach qualification in order to facilitate free womens circuit training.
We train or play matches twice a week during the rugby playing season which runs from September to early May. During this time we train on Tuesday evenings for approx 1 hr usually from 6-7pm or 6.30-7.30pm. From September to October this is at Whitehall Rugby Club and then when we need floodlit pitches, it's at another facility usually a local school. We also train on Sunday mornings 10.30am - 12pm unless we are playing matches, these can start anytime from 9am and the usual time commitment is approx 1-2hrs depending on the fixture. We play matches at home and also away clubs. We appreciate that everyone is a volunteer and cannot commit to be available every Sunday and Tuesday, which is why we are looking to boost coaching numbers so that everyone has flexibility.
We are looking for someone who is interested in being part of the coaching team, and helping to develop a team as they move through the age groups.
