Why we need you.
How we shop may have changed, but the feel of our shops is the same as it always has been, sociable and full of people who are whole-heartedly working hard for children and young people with cancer.
Take a look at the different ways you can volunteer with our shops below and find the best role for you.
The post lockdown period has seen a huge influx of generous donations from the public, apply your fab organizational skills and learn how we sort, prepare and merchandise stock for the shop floor. This key retail skill is a must have for any budding retailer and allows you to bring out your creative side.
If you are the type of person who gets a buzz from talking to and connecting with others, and are a dab hand with numbers then the till could be the place for you. This role is vital to creating a community feeling within our shop, there is nothing more rewarding than conversations and smiles with customers.
All volunteers who join our team will get a full health and safety induction, as well as an induction into the world of Young Lives vs Cancer and the services we deliver.
