What’s a Retail Rockstar Volunteer?
Are you a “can do” type of person? Can you lead the shop volunteer team when the boss isn’t in work? And make sure that the shop’s running smoothly, looks it’s best, moneys being made, and our customers are getting the best shopping experience possible. You’ll also be opening and closing the shop, completing the banking and shop admin as well as stock handling and managing our security processes.
What’s involved?
Opening and closing the shop
Complete the banking and shop admin
Communicating with a wide range of people
Serving customers at the till
Accepting donations from the public
Putting goods on display in the shop
Maintaining high levels of shop standards, presentation, and cleanliness
Generating add-on sales and Gift Aid conversion through high levels of customer service
Completing Gift Aid shop paperwork
Carrying out shop security procedures
Promoting awareness of the charity and the services that we provide
Troubleshooting if operational problems arise
