We are a group of 10 Fishponds-based friends who organise a free event in Oldbury Court every year.
The popularity of party in the ponds has grown year on year and we are very proud to run this event for the local community.
Last year, we had nearly 7000 people attend throughout the day. Everyone enjoyed the bands, choirs, performers, stall holders, crafts and food stalls too. Everyone involved was showcasing the best of Bristol, and in particular, Fishponds and the surrounding areas.
We make no profit on this event. We rely on volunteers, like ourselves, who are passionate about helping in the community.
We require volunteers throughout the day (8am-10pm) to help with litter collection, guiding the public, selling raffle tickets. If you can give some time, whether a few hours or longer, we'd love to hear from you. You will be guaranteed to have an amazingly fun day, whilst helping in the community.
