ParkWork offers hands on training and skills development for people who need additional support to secure permanent employment, while improving the maintenance and management of Bristol’s parks.
Volunteers are welcome to join the ParkWork team Tuesday to Thursday. Current restrictions mean that we are only running sessions in the morning and volunteers must make their own way to the site.
Contact Joe Mckenna on 07469 400689 or joe.mckenna@bristol.gov.uk to find out where in the city they will be working on a particular day. You can then meet them on site.
Work on our list includes 70+ tasks such as:
• Railway Path scrub clearance
• Stoke Park fence building
• Troopers Hill step building
• Ashton Court paths
• Gaunts Ham Park painting
• Castle Park planting and flower bed management
• Lake Mead Grove painting play equipment
