Exhbitions include arts, crafts and heritage. The events range form school visits to evening music events, chat shows and book readings. Stewards can also join in with the planning and help inform about the ship's mission for while moored in Bristol and the plans for sailing again. (Volunteer Stewards would be involved with sailing excursions)
The ship opens on Tuesdays, Wednesdays for conservation and maintainance along with access for the public. It is also open on two weekends per month. Volunteering is flexible with openions to work in one or more of the various teams.
This ship has been to more UK ports than any other vessel. The skills and knowledge of volunteers on the ship is extensive and unique and we want to share this with new volunteers in order to keep this historic vessel in full working order and sailing again.
