Good morning

Bristol Hub is a local branch of the national charity, Student Hubs. Our team of volunteers and staff work in partnership with the University of Bristol to support students to tackle social challenges, learn about issues and connect with each other.

As students return to the city and are unable to enjoy as much of the face to face volunteering and community building we usually offer, we are looking for remote ways to build a sense of belonging.

Friends with Pens is an intergenerational penpal scheme in which a university student and someone in the community aged over 55 will be matched up. It is an opportunity to connect, share stories and build a friendship over the course of the academic year (November - May).

If you are interested, or know anyone who might be, please reach out and feel free to share the details!

Many thanks

Sophie
