Volunteering with First Call Support at home is an extremely rewarding and worthwhile experience.
The flexibility of our service means you can volunteer at a time and location that suits you.
You can volunteer in the community in Bristol, South glos and North Somerset. You can also volunteer in our 3 hospitals BRI, SMH and WGH.
We ask that you commit one volunteering time a week if possble, but you are welcome to volunteer more that that if you would like.
Typical tasks include:

- Helping with practical tasks like shopping, collecting prescriptions and light meal preparation
- Keeping records of contact and activities.
- Signposting to support their independence in the home or their community
- Visiting patients on the ward before discharge to talk about their needs.
