The Project Scope: Our main school office is the "heart" of the building, but it currently looks dated and uninspiring. We are looking for a professional team to lead a comprehensive spruce-up. Due to the high ceilings in our Victorian building, this project requires scaffolding or a scissor lift to safely reach the upper cornices and rafters. We are seeking a partner who can provide both the expertise and the necessary access equipment.
The Multi-Purpose Impact: This isn't just about aesthetics; this space serves three critical functions:
-
A Clinical Sanctuary: This is where our students come when they are injured or unwell. A clean, bright, and freshly painted environment is essential for providing a calm and hygienic atmosphere for first aid and medical care.
-
A Welcoming Gateway for Parents: We pride ourselves on our partnership with families. We need this space to be a professional, warm environment where parents feel comfortable and respected when meeting with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to discuss their child's progress or wellbeing.
-
The First Impression: For prospective families and visitors, the office sets the tone for our school’s standards. Moving away from the dated decor to a modern, spruced-up look reflects the high aspirations we have for our pupils.
Time Commitment & Logistics:
-
Timing: This must be completed during school holidays to ensure the site is clear of children and staff, and to allow for the setup of scaffolding/lifts.
-
Duration: We anticipate this being a 3 to 4-day project depending on the size of the team.
-
Requirements: Volunteers must have experience with height-access equipment and a commitment to high-quality finishes.
Frequency: This is a one-off major restoration project. However, for the right corporate partner, we would be delighted to discuss ongoing minor "touch-up" support or future decorative projects across our wider campus.
Materials & Support: We are seeking a partner who can ideally sponsor the paint (hard-wearing, wipeable finishes preferred for clinical areas) and the hire of the lift equipment. We will provide full site access, refreshments, and a massive "thank you" in our community newsletter.
