Royale West FC is a growing grassroots football club in Bristol. We have recently taken on a run-down clubhouse and football grounds, and we are looking for friendly, reliable people who would like to help us bring the site back to life.
We are building more than just a football club. Our aim is to create a positive, welcoming community hub for local children, families, players, parents and volunteers.
We are looking for people who can help in a range of ways, including:
- Matchday coordination
- Helping set up and pack away goals/equipment
- Supporting the clubhouse/bar on training or matchdays
- Helping with teas, coffees and refreshments
- Social media and content creation
- Event support
- Fundraising ideas
- Admin and organisation
- Practical hands-on support around the site
- Coaching or assistant coaching, if suitable
You do not need to be a football expert. Many of the roles are about being organised, positive, friendly and willing to get stuck in.
Time commitment can be flexible. Some people may be able to help for a few hours each week, while others may only be available occasionally for matchdays, events or specific projects.
This could suit someone who:
- Wants to be part of a meaningful local project
- Enjoys working around sport, children or community activity
- Has a few spare hours and wants to do something positive
- Is looking to gain experience in sport, coaching, events, social media or club operations
- Likes the idea of helping a new club grow from the early stages
Some opportunities may be voluntary, while some part-time paid roles may become available depending on the role, experience and responsibility involved.
If you are positive, reliable and interested in helping build something special for local families, we would love to hear from you.
