Our Health and Care Ambassador Programme is now live.

We’re looking for ambassadors to help inspire the next generation of health and social care workers

Proud to Care, in partnership with the Integrated Care Board (ICB), have launched an ambassador programme offering people who work or study in health and social care the opportunity to speak in schools and colleges about their roles, sharing their career journeys and inspiring the next generation of health and social care professionals.

By providing just three hours of time per year to take part in careers events and activities, you could inspire a young person to take the first steps in a career like yours.

Once signed up, you will be invited to a training session and provided with access to a quarterly support group. When you feel comfortable, you will be invited by a school or college to take part in careers fairs, career networking or lunchtime talks to young people.
