Organisation: Hartcliffe and Withywood Community Partnership (HWCP) is a community led organisation, representing and working on behalf of a community on the Southern edge of Bristol. Their vision is for all people in the communities they serve to have an equal chance to lead successful, healthy and happy lives.
-
What: As a trustee, you’ll play an essential role in helping HWCP achieve its mission and support the people of Hartcliffe and Withywood. We’re committed to building a board that reflects
and understands our community, with a variety of skills, experiences, and backgrounds. Whether your expertise is in finance, digital technology, marketing, business, HR, or just a
strong understanding of our local area, your contribution can help shape the future of HWCP
- What's in it for you:
• The chance to work alongside passionate people
• Meaningful personal and professional development
• The opportunity to make a lasting impact in our community
• Enhance your leadership, teamwork, and governance skills
- Time Commitment
We ask trustees to commit to approximately 5 hours per quarter. This includes:
• Quarterly Board Meetings - 2 hours each
• Committee Meetings - 2 hours (often shorter), trustees are required to join one of our committees:
• HR or Finance, which meet quarterly, or
• Health & Safety, which meets twice a year unless something occurs.
• Document Review - around 1 hour per quarter to read papers in advance of meetings.
We welcome applications from everyone and are especially keen to hear from people who live or work locally or who have experience in fundraising, property or fleet management, HR, or marketing and communications.
