We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to play and support children with disabilities at our summer activity centre between the 4th and the 18th of April 2020. This Easter we are based at Kingsweston School, Bristol.

Gympanzees is a non-profit organisation providing exercise, play and friendship for 0-25 years olds with disabilities. 84% of children and young people with disabilities can't access regular leisure facilities and are experiencing isolation, affecting their physical and mental health - our Pop Up leisure facility gives families somewhere to go in the summer holidays (which can be a difficult time of year).

Volunteers are required for a range of jobs at the Pop Up - from greeting parents and children on reception, helping in the cafe and other general duties. Ideally, we are looking for people who are available to work at least half a day per week between the 4th and the 18th of April 2020. Shift times are 9.30-13.30 or 13.00-17.00 Monday-Sunday.

Ideally (but not essential) you will be

- Experienced in working with children/young people with disabilities

- DBS checked for a current position (desirable)

- Enthusiastic, energetic, friendly & professional

- Able to work in a team

- Be available to work half a day per week (4th and the 18th of April 2020) (desirable)

Shift times: 9.30 – 13.30 or 13.00 – 17.00
