Nilaari is a Black-led mental health and wellbeing charity that has supported adults (18+) from racially minoritised communities for more than twenty years.
We provide free one-to-one counselling and talking therapies, both in-person (Bristol) and online. Our qualified therapists offer a safe, non-judgemental space to explore emotional and mental distress, recognising the impact of culture, identity, inequality, and life experience on wellbeing. Alongside therapy, we host free online community spaces on Zoom, where people can connect, share experiences, and learn tools for self-care in a supportive environment as well as in-person events for our communities.
Whether you’re seeking culturally aware therapy, practical guidance from our Mental Health Practitioner Team, or a space to feel seen and understood, Nilaari offers a holistic approach to healing that centres your voice, your journey and your self-worth.
We are open for community self-referrals as well as referrals from other organisations (including local Universities, SARI & NextLink). We are also part of the VCSE Mental Health Collaborative.
