My name is Alex and I work in the Community Fundraising team at St Mungo’s in the South West. We are the biggest provider of homelessness services in the South West, helping over 30,000 people experiencing homelessness across Bristol and the South every year. We support people in the South West with our outreach, accommodation and recovery services, helping them to move into full time housing and gain employment skills.

We are looking for volunteers who will be able to support us during our donation collections, these take place at train stations, supermarkets and shopping centres; as well as events such as Pride, Christmas markets and fairs. There will always be a St Mungo's staff member who will be collecting alongside the volunteer and can help with any queries.

St Mungo's coillections are not only a great way for us to fundraise but also give us an opportunity to build awareness of our charity and speak to the pubolic about how they can support homelessness services in their community. Due to the cost of living crisis, homelessness has risen 16% in the last 3 months and your help will be hugely valued as we're unable to hold collections without our wonderful volunteers.
