About the event

? Date: 14/03/2025

⏰ Time: 10:00 - 16:00 (Drop-in session)

? Location: Got Greens Farm, Winterbourne, South Glous

Why Join Us? At Got Greens, we’re dedicated to promoting biodiversity, food sovereignty, and community well-being. Every task you take part in contributes to our mission of regenerating the land, improving local food security, and creating a thriving space for wildlife and people alike. The fresh, chemical-free produce grown in our market garden will be donated to local food banks, helping to support families in need and tackle food insecurity. Plus, working outdoors is a fantastic way to boost your mental and physical well-being!

?What you could get involved in:

  • Garden maintenance – Help us maintain our vegetable growing beds up the farm, prepare the soil, and ensure our growing spaces are in top shape.

  • Seed sowing – Get hands-on experience planting a variety of seeds that will contribute to our regenerative farming efforts.

  • Wildlife-friendly gardening – Learn about how we incorporate biodiversity-friendly practices, from companion planting to creating wildlife habitats.

  • Community connection – Meet others who share a passion for sustainable food growing, nature recovery, and climate resilience.

? What to Bring:

  • Wear suitable footwear (sturdy boots ? or wellies recommended).

  • Bring gardening gloves ? if you have them. Don’t worry if not—we’ll have spares available for anyone who needs them.

  • Weather-appropriate clothing

  • A water bottle and any snacks you may need

No prior gardening experience is needed—just a willingness to get involved and have fun outdoors! ?

Tea ☕and coffee ☕will be provided throughout the day.

How to Join: This event is free to attend, but we kindly ask that you RSVP in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Can't wait to see you at the farm! ?✨
