Caring in Bristol is looking for a keen volunteer to help once a week using their British Sign Language skills to support our clients.
Caring in Bristol works in creative ways across the city to help those going through or at risk of homelessness, including running homelessness prevention initiatives, a youth night shelter for 18-25 year olds and support work across different age groups to help those who are at risk of homelessness.
We're looking for some help in our Youth project, Project Z, where we work 1-2-1 with young people across the city to help them achieve opportunities and get them into safe and suitable housing. The perfect volunteer in question will be fluent in British Sign Language and able to come to meetings at our premises in St Pauls to assist with BSL translation for vulnerable clients. The role can be flexible and travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Please do get in touch at volunteer@caringinbristol.org.uk to show your interest.
