To provide finance and administrative support to the staff and Management Committee, supervised by the Finance Manager, at Malcolm X Community Centre, Bristol BS2 8YH.

Working closely with the Finance Manager to record, review, monitor and support the management of finances and general administration duties.

To assist with bookings and general upkeep of administrative and financial income at the centre. Also with Debt Management process.

Assume joint responsibility for incoming and outgoing mail and maintain records of policy and procedure to ensure systems, records are kept up to date.
Duties:

Assist with the smooth running of the operations finance department.

Using QuickBooks accounting system.

Raising invoices and processing refunds.

Dealing with Cash transactions and reconciling.

Responding to queries sent to the Finance team inbox.
Carry out key recurring tasks for credit control, including:

Chasing overdue customer debt by email and occasionally by telephone or letter.

Ensuring records of all debt chasing activities are kept up to date.
