As part of the 14-24 Team, you’ll support volunteers in the Explorer and Network Sections, helping shape experiences that are inclusive, community-focused and driven by the voices of young people.
As a team, you'll be helping to grow and sustain our 14–24 provision by attracting, welcoming and retaining adult volunteers to support young people aged 14–24.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote adult volunteering opportunities within the 14–24 provision
- Identify gaps in skills and capacity within the team and support targeted recruitment
- Build relationships with local Groups, District teams and community partners
- Organise and support volunteer recruitment campaigns and information events
- Ensure a warm, inclusive and supportive welcome for new volunteers
- Support onboarding, training signposting and integration into the team
- Monitor volunteer numbers and help develop retention strategies

- Confident communicator
- Approachable and welcoming

- Passionate about volunteering and youth development
- Able to build positive relationships with adults from diverse backgrounds
Time Commitment
Flexible; approx. 2–4 hours per week, with occasional additional time during recruitment campaigns.
