Ignite Life is a childrens charity that supports vulnerable young people to access essential mental health care, educational support and food support.

This role will allow you to support vulnerable young people to access their needed mental health care. Through our receptionist role, you will be facilitiating a safe and accessible space for young people to access the care they need.

Our centre is based in Kingswood and the role will be at the centre for the entire shift. Besides welcoming visitors to the centre, you will have opportunity to complete your own work while knowing that you are facilitating counselling sessions for young people.

This role will include sitting in the reception area of our youth centre where young people access counselling support.

It will include welcoming families and carers to their session and taking them through to their session.

It can include low level administrative work to carry out while the sessions are taking place and no one is going in and out of the building - this may include proof reading copy, blog writing for the website. However, there will most likely be chance for you to do your own personal work.

Venue

Unit 6, bs15 4fw

When: Every week

Saturday
11:00 - 16:00 BST
Sunday
11:00 - 16:00 BST
This can be flexible, we need our centre to be open on those times during the weekend. However, if you can only do a couple hours on one of the days then we can try and find someone else to cover the other hours.
