Description
Community Services Volunteers help raise awareness of cholesterol and HEART UK’s services in local communities. Volunteers support outreach activities, events and conversations that help people understand cholesterol and where to find trusted support. This role is open to members of the public, including people with lived experience of high cholesterol. The programme is being piloted in two areas, Leeds and Bristol with the aim of expanding into other areas of high unmet need.
What will you be doing?

Sharing information about cholesterol and HEART UK’s services

Connecting with community leaders, groups and organisations

Supporting the planning and delivery of outreach and awareness activities

Taking part in community events

Signposting people to HEART UK’s trusted information and support

Helping record activity, such as numbers reached and materials shared
The impact you'll have
You’ll help people in your community better understand cholesterol and where to find support. Your involvement will help HEART UK reach people earlier, reduce health inequalities, and support healthier lives through awareness, connection and trusted information.
