We are getting together with volunteers to help make the most of our outdoor space at St Anne’s House, in Brislington, Bristol.
For those who haven’t visited before, we have a stretch of land just off the car park which isn’t in use at the moment, and we’d like to work with local people and visitors to find out what you’d like to see in the space.
Join local resident Nohelia to share ideas, do a bit of prepping of the space and come along to see what we can do.
It could be both a community garden with peas, tomatoes, berries, and other edible goodies, and have more of a social seating space for tenants and visitors to meet one another, chat, and enjoy.
You do not need any experience, just a keen interest to get involved!
Volunteering sessions from April 2024:
No experience needed, sessions will involve things like planting, clearing weeds and cutting back but there will also be time to contribute to the future of the space and drink tea! Come along for as long as you like and bring gloves if you have them!
You do not have to come for the full duration of the sessions – just turn up:
- Wednesday 10 April, 4.30 – 6.30pm
- Thursday 25 April, 11am – 1pm
- Monday 06 May, 10.30am – 1pm
- Thursday 16 May, 4.30 – 6.30pm
- Wednesday 05 June, 4.30 – 6.30pm
