We need volunteers at the event to support our runners who have raised money for the BHF by taking on this challenge.
As part of our cheer team, you’ll be at the very heart of our runner’s event day experience. You’ll be posted at one of our fun-filled cheer points, where you’ll get to enjoy one of the biggest events in the country, while helping to motivate and create an unforgettable atmosphere for our BHF participants.
The role of a cheer point volunteer includes:
- Helping setup the cheer point at the start of the day
- Cheering on our runners, encouraging them and ensuring they have a great event day.
- Liaising with local people and support the general running of the cheer point.
- Helping take apart the cheer point at the end of the day if required
