Join and support our cafe team.

Westbury Wildlife Park Foundation is a 13 acre sanctuary in the village of Westbury on Trym. Our aim is to support disabled, elderly, underprivileged and minority groups engage and learn and engage with nature in a safe and therapeutic environment. Our days open to the public and our events help fund a bursary to support these communities to use the park. The hours that the cafe is open is invaluable to the foundations aim.

We are open to the public from 22th of March until November, our opening hours are Fri-Sun 10 - 4.

Full coffee machine training will be given and support from a cafe manager during your slot.

The Cafe can be busy at peak times but you will not be left alone and full support from the trust and staff will be given.

The menu is short and includes coffee, loose leaf teas, cakes, ice creams and vegetarian panini/toasties. There will be some cleaning duties as well.

This is a customer facing slot and there will be money handling. If you you like to volunteer as a pair or with a family member then please let us know.

The team is social and bubbly. Hours are flexible and all volunteers will receive tea/coffee  and a snack per shift.

Whether you are looking to get out the house and meet new people, give back to the community, practice your English, gain confidence or learn new skills to get into work, this opportunity could be the one for you!
