Come and work alongside our trained and experienced Energy Tracers (ETs) to carry out home heat-loss surveys across Bristol, supporting them with note taking, equipment set up and other tasks. You will learn all about thermal imaging readings, the wide variety of problems our homes face with heat loss and energy inefficiency, and the affordable and impactful ways of dealing with them.

The C.H.E.E.S.E project is unique in the UK and is committed to involving and empowering people to make a difference to the comfort and carbon footprint of their home. From small council flats to large detached homes, we see the variety of challenges our leaky homes present and how they impact on people's lives.

We also survey community buildings, eco homes, new homes built to poor standards and existing homes where people have already had energy efficiency work done and want to check to see if it has made a difference or if the materials are performing as they should.

Every year we train new ETs and if you volunteer with us this survey season (between November and May) you may find you want to train to lead surveys with us next year.

We're very friendly and support each other. You will be given an induction and our survey manager and Energy Tracers will support you.

We look forward to hearing from you.
