167th Scout Group runs busy and popular Beaver, Cub and Scout groups, but we need some more adult assistants, especially in the Scout Group. We have excellent and enthuastic leaders for each section so you would not be leading alone, but providing reliable assistance to the leader to ensure that the young people can get the most from the meetings, activities and camps.
So, if you enjoy outdoor activities (camping, walking, climing, cannoeing, caving etc), the company of young people and can spare a Tuesday evening in term time we would love to hear from you. No Scouting experiance is needed as we will ensure you are trained and supported through out, but if you have been a part of Scouts or Guides you will know how much fun there is to be had.
As well as helping us it will broaden your horizons, enhance your CV and give you contacts in the local community!
We would welcome more than one helper so if you have a friend who would like to join you, then both you and the leader will have more support.
