We are looking for disabled adults aged between 17-25 to help us perform an access audit on a building.
What do we mean by an audit?
An audit is a way of making sure that building or services are accessible for disabled people.
What will I be doing?
- Attending a training session on how to perform an Access Audit
- Using your lived experience as a disabled person to inform the Access Audit
- Learning about the Social Model of Disability
- Taking notes pictures and measurements during the audit
- Assist with report writing.
Our charity is led by disabled people, and we believe that disabled people should be involved in making decision that will affect their community.
We would like to hear from young disabled people who live in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Bath or Somerset.
As a member of the board, you will:
- Meet new people.
- Learn communication skills
- Your voice will be heard
- Your opinions will be heard

As a volunteer you will be reimbursed out of pocket expenses like lunch and travel.
