With over 100 years of Scouting heritage in St Andrews and Bishopston, 63rd Bristol is now home to more than 300 young people and over 30 dedicated volunteer leaders. We are proud to be one of the largest and most active Scout Groups in the UK.
Our vibrant community of Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts meets regularly in the heart of St Andrews and Bishopston. Our Scout Hut is a true community hub, also welcoming Girl Guides and a variety of local and private groups who use the space throughout the week.
We are governed by a committed Board of Trustees and supported by an engaged network of parents and carers. Regular fundraising efforts and income from facility rentals have helped ensure our financial stability.
As we prepare for an exciting new chapter—including a major building project—we are looking for a Treasurer to join our Trustee Board. This is a pivotal role at a time of growth and opportunity, helping to ensure our finances remain robust and transparent as we invest in the future of Scouting in our area.
