How it works

Use this simple guide to understand the process of posting and exchanging resources.

  • Account requirement: You must have an account on Can Do Bristol as a community group, business or public body. Individual accounts cannot post Asks or Offers (sorry!).
  • Posting an activity: To post an Ask or Offer (called an "Activity"), log in and click "Add an Activity."
  • Approval process: The admin team reviews and approves Asks and Offers within 5 working days.
  • Successful exchanges: Completed exchanges are recorded and visible on both accounts involved.
  • Activity status: An Ask or Offer stays live until its expiry date or until the owner marks it as "End this activity" or "Delete" in their dashboard.
