I have a range of skills from career and hobbies. I used to be an English and Science teacher in secondary schools then changed careers to social research. My research project was with children in primary school, so I have a lot of experience with children age 8 and up. Now I'm a government social researcher and work in analysis.

My hobbies include baking, crochet, dancing and reading, and I enjoy reading aloud.

My job gives me 5 days a year for volunteering. I am especially interested in half-term volunteering opportunities that my daughter (age 11) can volunteer for as well. She just started secondary school this year, and we're keeping an eye out for volunteering roles for the both of us together.
