i am the organizer and commitee member of the filwood community market.

To bring a different shopping experiences to the local community.

 

To bring external traders and public into the area to help boost the local economy and enhance the experience of being in the BS4 area.

To give opportunities to local people and help them develop skills and knowledge both as volunteers and in employment including showing them how to use their skills to become self-employed either on a full time or part time basis. Perhaps as traders themselves or being employed by the market.

To bring local traders and artisans into contact with the local public and enabling the local public to appreciate the skills of the local artisans and traders in a safe and friendly environment also to encourage local to local trade.
