I am an experienced technical communicator who is looking for work in marketing media. My motivation for applying for this opportunity is to gain more experience in social media and e-mail marketing. I have the requisite experience for this role in the following areas: • Writing for diverse technical and cultural audiences in a variety of topics • Designing and writing sales brochures and technical manuals • Administration of documentation and use of document control systems • Writing and editing case studies • Website creation and development (mostly outside employment) • Working with subject matter experts and stakeholders • Strong proof-reading skills. I proof-read content for the International Meteor Organisation (IMO) for three years. My key ability is explaining complex concepts at a level appropriate to the audience.
