I’ve recently stopped working as a teacher. I’m looking to return to part-time work at some point but at the moment I would like to volunteer. I’m 57. I have lots of experience working in schools and children’s centres but do not want to volunteer in a school or help with reading. I would love to do some work with a refugee charity. I also love gardening and walking the dog so would be happy with something outdoors or with cooking/kitchen work. I also have experience with boards of governors in a school so would be happy to volunteer as a trustee.
