About

Support patients with life limiting illnesses by raising funds through our charity shops.

St Peter’s Hospice is a local Bristol charity founded in 1978 when the first nurse was appointed. Since then, it has grown massively, and each year makes a difference to the lives of thousands of patients and their families when it matters most. With an inpatient unit and Bristol wide community nursing care, St Peter’s Hospice works tirelessly to support individuals and families as they navigate the challenges of living with a life limiting illness. None of this would be possible without the support of the people of Bristol and our brilliant volunteers.

Our retail team raise £3,000,000 a year to support vital patient care. With almost 50 shops across the wider Bristol area, you’re never far from a local St Peter’s Hospice shop and a multitude of flexible volunteering opportunities that will fit around your lifestyle. Whether it’s sorting through donations, photographing and listing items for our Depop shop at Avonmouth or providing brilliant customer service in our shops.

We also have opportunities in our Hospice at Brentry, or out in the community as a Hospice Neighbour. Please see our current roles listed here or visit our website (www.stpetershospice.org) for more information.

Join our very friendly teams, meet new people, build links with your community, learn new skills and gain work experience to look great on your CV. Help us raise vital funds and make a difference to a patient's quality of life.
