Support Young People and run events for community on a ship in Bristol's Harbour

My Future My Choice and MV Balmoral address the need for practical opportunities for young people to engage with the world outside school.

MV Balmoral, a ship in Bristol's Heritage Harbour is the venue for lots of activities with schools and events for the public.

We help children build model sail boats that race in the harbour. We enable children to explore the cargo cranes above the ship and build their own table top lifting devises. We engage businesses with children to help them explore possible futures.

We stage exhibitions and events and ship's tours that all need stewards and explainers.

We sell refreshments and need helpers for this.

There is also engineering, painting and conservation work on board the ship.

The ship is open Tuesdays and Fridays as well as two for two weekends a month along with activities at the various Festivals in the city centre.
