St Anne’s House is a creative and community hub grown from the ambition of local communities of St Annes, and the creative community of Bristol.
We aim to support community resilience through a ground up approach to grow a useful and meaningful space for a mix of creative and community uses – as led by the St Anne’s Action Group, a group of local residents that meet monthly to set the agenda for what St Anne’s House is and becomes.
In our building you will find 100+ tenants including Bristol Cooperative Gym (inclusive gym run by members), Bristol Community Sauna (public Sauna), Cibomatto Canteen (public cafe), Community Pottery (public pottery studio), Mayking space (theatre testing and development space), an artist project space, artist studios, coworking and office spaces, play therapy space, massage therapy space, social prescribing and mental health nurses (delivered by Nightingale Valley Medical Centre), an alternative art school (Day School), and a mushroom farm.
In addition to the tenanted spaces we also have affordable community room’s available to hire for communities to self organise. We also directly programme work in response to local ambition as set by the St Anne’s Action Group.
