Shirehampton JTE Hub was set up to provide help with jobs, training and enterprise support to local residents of Avonmouth, Lawrence Weston, Shirehampton and Sea Mills. Our services have expanded to include wellbeing and we work with a range of organisations including the DWP, Clean Slate, Housing Matters and BOSH. We can help with anything from CV writing to universal credit migration to starting a small business.
We have a range of 3D printers which anyone can come and use to create and print their designs. We would like to make more use of them so if there are any volunteers willing to spare a few hours teaching youngsters (or adults) how to model using blender or similar get in touch.
We also want to map our local village in the Minecraft world. We have a group of willing young people and just need help with how to safely create a server that we can control access to. Any suggestions welcome!
